So, I'll admit it openly. I was seriously bummed about the Supreme Court's ruling on guns yesterday. But I know dissenting opinions abound. And yes, I understand the debate around the interpretation of the Second Amendment, but even if the founding fathers did mean to protect individual gun ownership not associated with a "well regulated militia," did they possibly foresee what guns would become in 2008? Or the level of gun violence that now taints the U.S.? What do you guys think about this? I'm curious.
