Pregnant Man?
Have you heard about Thomas? His exclusive interview with Oprah was one of the oddest things I've ever seen. On one hand I'd be ecstatic to see the boys get fat and emotional, but on the other hand I'd be worried that the actual birth would become a league sanctioned spectator sport with a lot more high-fiving. Legally, Thomas has been declared "a man", so is this the first male pregnancy?

My understanding--based loosely on dinner conversation last night--is that there have been several pregnancy situations during the transition from . . .woman to man. But that Thomas is the first to attract (or seek) this level of media attention. I wonder why?
This is not the first male pregnancy. Thomas has a uterus. He's not male, he was born female. He may be a man according to the law, but since when has the law perfectly reflected reality?
He wants all this attention because he thinks that somehow it will translate into something good. Maybe he wanted an intership with Oprah.
