What's an Iron?

This reminds me of the time my little one got into Mommy's bedside table and came up with...

"What's this for Mommy?"

"I use it when I have a stiff neck and Daddy isn't home to rub it."

I know a husband who was confronted with his son holding an unsheathed tampon. Daddy replied it was something Mommy used to clean her ears. Mommy came home to little son with new earplugs.

Other obsolete technologies: records, cassette tapes, the home phone landline. Will my kid have to wait until he and all his friends get cellphones before they can call each other?

I have seen my brother's children text each other while sitting at the same dinner table.

Not to be outdone, I speed dialed him from my phone and asked him to pass the broccoli.
