GoMom.com is a discussion forum (with free email newsletters) that connects moms from all over the world, letting them share their wisdom, their pet peeves, and their recipes for a great mojito. It's the site for all that inside information you wish your mom had let you in on.
It's useful. It's entertaining. It's addictive. Most of all it's fun. There are lots of moms here, just like you, sharing tips, humor, and the latest dish (and we don't mean casserole).
Here's how it works: we're not a top-down site. Although we have a few moms who edit things and start things off, this site is yours. The only way it can be better is if YOU post topics and YOU share your thoughts on other topics. Every topic is commentable, and every member can start her own topic. But, to comment or post a topic, you do have to be a member.
To become a member, all you have to do is click on the Join Now button at the top right of this screen. Fill in some basic information, click in the confirming email, and you're in. You can be as forthcoming or as anonymous as you like. It's completely up to you. The only reason we require an email at all is just to prevent automated spammers from taking over the site. (Well ok, we admit we'd like to send you emails to keep you informed about GoMom, too...and maybe the occasional message from our advertisers. But, again, you are free to opt out of those emails any time you like.)
Please note: our topics, photos, deals and links are are the product of our editorial team and our members. They are not advertisements and we would never sell placement to our advertisers within our content areas. (Hey, that's what ads are for.) Also, we will never sell our email lists to advertisers. If you want, you can subscribe to emails that will come from our advertisers (and we hope you do, because we've got to get paid somehow). But we want you to be sure that anything you see in our content areas is not paid content. Anything on our website or emails that's paid will be clearly marked as advertising.
